ROOT CELLAR CEREAL DRIVE

Realizing that there was a huge demand for cereal in the community, Straightline Volkswagen Medicine Hat partnered with the Root Cellar to collect donations for those families in need starting the first annual Cereal Drive.

Because of its expense, cereal isn't generally something that's donated or purchased by the Root Cellar. It's simple and easy to make for all ages so the demand is certainly there, especially with children in the community. We look forward to continuing this Drive for years to come and are proud to support the community of Medicine Hat.

CALGARY FOOD BANK TOURNAMENT RINK SPONSOR

The Straightline Motor Group novice team, playing on the Tim Hortons Pond during the championships. SMG is a rink sponsor for the tournament, and takes all of the fund-raising dollars, and donates them to the Calgary Food Bank. What an amazing tournament. Thank you to everyone who participated!

MDA GOLF TOURNAMENT

We are delighted to sponsor and take part in the MDA Golf Tournament, where this year our team was thrilled to bring home the win!

All proceeds went towards the Big Brothers & Big Sisters organization, a volunteer-driven organization recognized for its mentoring programs for children and youth in schools and communities.

BROWN BAG LUNCH PROGRAM

We've had the pleasure of teaming up with local dealerships across Medicine Hat, Alberta for the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub Brown Bag Lunch Program, which feeds about 1,200 kids a day and growing in our beautiful community.

What an amazing program to be a part of, lots of lunches will be given to ensure that no child goes to school without a lunch.

CASA MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION LUNCH

We had the pleasure to show our support to the CASA Mental Health Foundation by organizing a lunch at our dealership! We have been proud providers of support vehicles and will continue to support this amazing not-for-profit foundation in Fort Saskatchewan.

GROW YOUR OWN PROJECT HARVEST FESTIVAL

Over the summer, Straightline Dodge had the amazing opportunity to sponsor the Grow Your Own Project Harvest Festival, where kids got the opportunity to spend time unplugging while also learning how to grow their own food and understanding where it comes from.

Our staff and team at Straightline Kia in Calgary were proud to help fundraise over $5,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation! As part of the event, our Dealer Principal summitted the Highwood Pass, 7300 feet and the highest highway in Canada.
